My First Graze Box! | Review

I've been what you could call a 'healthy eater' for a while now, but never before have I thought of trying out a Graze Box. I've seen them advertised on TV, seen stalls promoting them at local markets, and have had leaflets pushed through the letterbox, but up 'til now it hadn't crossed my mind to see what all the fuss was about.
After seeing yet another TV advert, I decided to turn to the trusty people of the blogging community to see what others had made of the boxes. Some had said that they were quite expensive at £3.89 per box, however you don't pay postage, and if this is slightly too pricey, you can reduce the amount of boxes you receive to once a fortnight (every 2 weeks). Similarly, you can opt. for boxes to be delivered twice a week.

If, like me, you base your payments on what the monthly cost will be, then the standard once a week box will cost you £15.56 per month, every other week will cost £7.78 per month, and twice a week will cost you £31.12 per month.

Most people had found that the website was very easy to use, and I would have to agree. Registering was simple, and I googled 'promotional codes for graze box', which, after some searching, I found one here which gave me the 1st and 5th boxes free! The code was Z4579XK, but I can't say whether it's still valid or not.
After you have placed the order, you have the job of deciding which of the foods you actually want from their range. Every food item (the range is literally endless, from tea and cake to popcorn, fruit and nut to beef jerky) has a rating system: Bin, Try, Like and Love. There is a 5th button/option, however not all of the foods have this available to them. I guess it's down to availability in the warehouse at the particular time. This is the 'Send Soon' button. As you can probably tell, this gives you the option of having the item sent sooner (hard to tell, I know).

There is a handy little box on the right hand side of the page which tells you when your next box is due to be delivered, and also when they've started preparing it. The next box due after that is also shown, and you have the option of 'pushing back' the box by a week, so if you know you will be away for your delivery date, you can alter deliveries to suit you.

So, down to the box...

It arrived right on time and with no damage whatsoever. I received the 'Boston Baguettes with a BBQ Relish', 'BBQ Pistachios', 'cherries & berries', and ' Cookies & Cream'.
I must admit that I ate half of this box as soon as opened it, devouring both the breadsticks and relish and the Cookies & Cream pots in the space of about 10 minutes (real healthy...).
I haven't yet tried the other two, but I can imagine they'll soon be gone ;) Oh, and I liked the cute napkin included in the bottom of the box, too!
